COVID 19- Update-WE’RE BACK!
As you are aware Covid 19 has impacted our nation and our world’s supply chain. Accordingly, most of our manufacturers and Dermasweep, like many of you, were deemed nonessential businesses and ordered to close due to the pandemic to stem the transmission of the virus.
By order of the Governor of California’s Shelter in Place mandate, Dermasweep closed. We reopened June 22nd. Although it has impacted our manufacturing and supply chain we are open and processing orders.
Please note you can expect to have additional processing time for your orders though with each week things seem to be moving a bit faster throughout the supply chain. Should a particular infusion not be readily available we will notify you of any backorder items.
In addition there can be any of the following for the foreseeable future until Covid no longer complicates the supply chain:
- Restrictions on quantities per product, at least initially
- Returns will not be accepted and refunds will not be offered at this time. All sales are final.
- No guarantee on delivery times per FEDEX and UPS.
- Phone services will not be available for orders. Please email us instead.
We are constantly updating our planning to be able to react to this developing crisis. We thank you for your support and patience during this time.

Due to the necessary ramp up of production lines some products may not be readily available and we will do our best to update but please understand estimates may be a moving target for a time.
For those of you interested in purchasing a new system we are currently shipping System 1.0’s. For those of you who are awaiting delivery of a new 2.0 system please be advised our manufacturing anticipates delivery before the end of 2020.
For those of you who have been provided with a Dermasweep v1.0 device you will be able to keep the device for use until a v2.0 is available for installation. For anyone interested in purchasing a new device, Dermasweep v1.0 loaner units will be provided on loan for use in your practice if requested until delivery of our new Dermasweep 2.0 systems are available from our manufacturing line again.
We are not able to process cancellations on orders due to Covid 19 delays as the delay of delivery is a force majeure event. We have done our best to provide anyone waiting with the option of the use of a System 1.0 for use in your practice until delivery is available. If you have not received a System 1.0 and would like to receive a system for use in your practice please notify us.
If you are a customer awaiting training, we will provide training via video and/or zoom until travel is safe. For the time being we do not have plans to resume in person training or demos for the safety and well-being of both you and our sales team members.
